Mr. Clarke is Director of Project Management and is responsible for all CapEx matters. During the acquisition process, Meridia’s in-house project management services team covers technical due diligence and potential CapEx/refurbishment project analysis.

Mr. Clarke joined Meridia in 2006. After opening the Hotel Arts Barcelona in 1994, he was recruited as a Property Manager responsible for asset management control. He was previously involved as a Project Manager in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games Development Project. This included the construction of a luxury five-star hotel, office building, commercial retail area and casino. He was contracted by Bovis International and then Shimizu Construction Japan to complete the project up to final inspection and handover to client. Prior to this, he gathered valuable experience working for his family-owned design and development company.

He holds a B.S. in Technical Industrial Engineering from Coventry Technical College (England).
