In April 2024, we completed the acquisition of a camping facility located in Javea, a coastal town known for its remarkable views and natural beauty. Covering 4.8 hectares, the site comprises 12 accommodations and 200 pitches.

 

This acquisition signifies Meridia's entry into one of the most esteemed areas of the Comunidad de Valencia and represents the eleventh acquisition of Meridia’s JV agreement with wecamp to build a sustainable glamping platform.  A repositioning refurbishment is planned to elevate the site and introduce the wecamp brand.

In July 2023 we closed the acquisition of a camping located in the Natural Park Cadí, a privileged spot with beautiful nature at the foot of Pedraforca mountain. The site covers 8 hectares and comprises 58 accommodations and 180 pitches. A repositioning refurbishment will be carried out to improve the site and expand the number of units.

In March 2023 we closed the acquisiton of a camping site in Jabalina, Cadiz. The site covers 6.5 hectares and will undergo heavy transformation to expand to 72 units. The campsite is hidden in a centenary pine forest, offering a unique and pure glamping concept that takes advantage of the natural environment, but at the same time is located very close to main Andalucia’s touristic spots.

In February 2023 we acquired a camping in Cudillero, North of Spain, representing another acquisition within Meridia’s JV agreement with wecamp to build a sustainable scalable glamping platform. The site covers more than 2 hectares and will undergo a refurbishment to expand wecamp's concept in the North of Spain.

In June 2022 we closed the acquisition of a camping located in the Aragon Pyrenees, North of Spain. The campsite covers 5.8 hectares and comprises 233 units. A repositioning refurbishment has been carried out to improve the site.

In May 2022 we acquired a camping site in Cadaqués, Costa Brava. This campsite spans 2.7 hectares and currently offers 143 units. Substantial capex was dedicated to repositioning and revitalizing the campsite.

In April 2022 we closed the acquisition of a camping in Vilacolum, Costa Brava. This represents the sixth acquisition of Meridia’s JV agreement with wecamp to build a sustainable glamping platform. The site covers 3.4 hectares with space for 118 units and will undergo heavy transformation with substantial capex investment.

In December 2021 we acquired a camping in San Sebastian, North of Spain. The site which covers approximately 6 hectares has undergone significant imporvements with substantial capex investment. The site currently has 282 units.

In March 2021 we closed the acquisition of a campsite in Cala Montgó, Girona. This property spans 10 hectares and currently features 498 units. Following extensive renovation efforts, the site underwent significant improvements and was strategically repositioned.

In February 2021 we closed the acquisition of a camping in Cabo de Gata, South of Spain. This represents the second acquisition of Meridia’s JV agreement with wecamp to build a sustainable camping operator. The site which covers 5 hectares has been repositioned and transformed with significant capex investment. It currently has 189 units.

In February 2020 we acquired a camping site in Santa Cristina, Costa Brava. It is the first acquisition of Meridia´s joint venture agreement with wecamp, a sustainable camping operator. Wecamp has been launched as a platform to carry out a scalable eco-friendly lodging programme in Spain and Portugal, where the camping sector remains underinvested and highly fragmented.

The site which covers 6 hectares has undergone heavy transformation with substantial capex investment and currently has 202 units.
